Making digital photo slideshow, want to view final on tv. What format will give me the best photo quality?

I’m using Honestech software to create a slideshow (with audio, transitions, etc) of 200 digital photos. Have saved trial version to computer in WMV format – picture quality is terrible! What is best for maintaining photo quality? Final use will be via TV. Thanks!
