i have 2 cameras 1 web cam, a laptop, and audio/ video cords and one small portable DVD player. Can i make any thing out of it?

It’s for a store and we’ll probably hook it up to a regular desktop. I’m looking for one that you would be able to view from home via DSL. In addition, a program that would save the video onto the desktop at the store, with the date and time. And would only activate when it detects motion.
