Right now, I have a sony RDR-GXD455 tunerless recorder connected to a satellite box. When the time comes to look for another one, do I bother trying to look for one with a built in digital tuner or are they only making them without them now since the digital TV transition? Digital TV Tuner on DVD Recorder?
A while ago, we purchased a Magnavox DVD Recorder/VHS Player model number ZV420MW8. It came with a paper that said it had a built-in digital TV tuner, so it would be digital ready (as long as it was hooked up to a proper TV antenna) and you could watch digital television after the transition back in February/June 2009. Is there one actually in it, because I have never found a place to plug an antenna...
