Is my Samsung HDTV 1080i ready for the June 12 transition or do I need a convertor box?

I was recently given a used Samsung HDTV. When I enter the serial number on Samsung, it shows that it was produced in 2005. HD Ready TV and the Transition?

I have a HD capable tv, but it has no digital tuner. All the converter boxes I’ve seen will take the digital signal and convert it to analog so that they can work with old sets. I need a converter/tuner that allows me to watch the OTA/QAM signals on my tv in digital format because its capable of doing so. Anyone know of a box that does is, and is it covered by the $40 coupon?
