DIGITAL TV question?????

hello we have brought the DTV Digital to Analog Converter due to the transition we thinking about getting our cable cut cuz it is cost us $50 dollars a month O.o but do we get to watch some of the same channels we do in cable as with the converter box?

I have a question about ABC and Digital TV.?

So, ABC used to be channel 7 when I had an antenna, before the transition. Now that I plugged in the converter box, it won’t get channel 7. What is the reason behind this discrepancy? Did channel 7 cease to exist? Is it locked up in an abyss? Will it no longer be available to those of us who don’t have cable or satellite?

When the change takes place for cable transition will any tv be able to continue viewing regular tv as long as you have cable or satellite or do you need an HDTV or converter box? My wife bet me and said if shes wrong she will do something special for me…

Digital Transition Question about Antennas?

I have an older tv and I don’t have cable. I bought the conveter box, hooked it up and the tv was really clear. However, the picture is constantly cutting out and ’searching for signal’. Does this mean that I need a better quality antenna for my reception or is that just the way the digital tv signal is?
