The heads on my VCR need to be cleaned and because of it only the sound works when i play a tape. But, i needed to tape the world series and didnt have time to clean it. Will that affect the video on the tape or will ti still show up?
i havnt tried playing it cause i still havnt gotten a chance to clean it so i know the video will not show up anyway.

wut do u do wen ur video camera says, “heads dirty, use cleaning cassete”????? is a it sumthing u buy

my camcorder fell on concrete, now it says that and wen i turn the camcorder, the video quality is bad

I have a problem of dirty video cassettes. Is there a way to actually clean the cassettes, not the VCR heads?

Sometimes you can actually see white “mold” inside the tape “window”. When these tapes are played, the VCR is rendered useless and requires a lot of work with wet and dry cleaners and sometimes a professional to get it working again until the next time a “dirty” tape is accidently used.

I have a samsung dv video camera.. and when i playback video on the lcd the vision is choppy.

the paper that came with the thing said this could be due to a dirty video head or something…

BUT WHERE IS THE VIDEO HEAD? WHERE IS IT LOCATED? DOES ANYONE KNOW. TELL ME.. DESCRIBE IT TO ME.

and how do you clean it? etc.

Something like sendables at jibjab.com. Its those funny videos where you cut and paste the heads of you or/and people you know and they do funny stuff/dances. I used to know websites for it but now I completely forgot what they were.
Im not sure what is the official name for those funny videos so I dont know how to look it up

yeah i know that they used to say cleaning vhs video heads too often on your vhs player could wear them down but i was wondering if thats the same on a mini dv camcorder

Ok, I have a digital 8 sony video camera, with about 10-20 hours recording time on it…

It started to get the pixelated lines accross the screen on playback… And its telling me the head needs cleaning.

I ran a dry head cleaner tap thru it and it did nothing!

Is there a way that i can clean it at home?!?

(I rang at least 10 shops, and only 1 had a dry cleaning kit!)

Its a dinosaur, i know…

Is there any home methods for cleaning it?

(The head is 10 – 20 hours old, it was replaced when the other one went caca!!)
