Ogden Canyon 240FPS Sony HDR-XR500 Slow Motion record feature test

More fun with the Sony HDR-XR500v HD camcorder. Although a marginally useful feature, the slow movie record function can make for some interesting effects. It records 240fps but only for 3 seconds into a buffer and you must then wait about 15-20 seconds for it to process before you can record again. There is also some fairly significant quality loss but for smaller screens its passable. I have thrown in a couple of standard speed shots so you can make a quality comparison.

Why is’nt my google earth ocean feature working?

I have seen all of the online videos of the amazing ocean feature on google earth 5.0. The videos include run throughs of google earth and you see all of the terrain and beautiful undersea life. When I go under the surface of the ocean with my google earth, all I see is a dark blue ground and occasionally a bump or two. It is nothing like the videos on the internet. Why cant I see anything interesting under the ocean? Is there something I have to do to turn It on?

What I am looking for is a FREE VIDEO screen capture program that will zoom while I am recording. I have seen some that will zoom, but not while I am recording something. Usually you have to choice your zoom area before you start recording and that’s fine, but I need one that will zoom in while I am making my presentation. Anyone know of good one and that also does not lag?
