I’ve had a few comments/emails asking for help on getting a better quality capture using the EzCAP DC60+ (£20 unit). The ShowBiz DVD2 software that comes with the unit is sufficient for most situations but does an aweful job on fast moving video, like COD4. I have found Pinnacle Studio 12 to be the best capture application, although its fiddly to use, as you need to have AmCap running alongside to get a colour picture for PAL60. ‘Arcsoft TotalMedia Extreme’ works very well with the EzCAP DC60+ and there’s not much to set, as the software seems to auto-detect the incoming signal.
