I had windows XP professional and i play diablo 2 my fps was about 330-400 and since installing vista my fps went down to 35-45 is there any way i can override my settings because im guessing vista doesnt turn on all of the settings like anitalising filtering etc. Is there any way i can?

I am looking for a way to run vista on my computer, not caring about not being able to use all the neat features like areo. I am expirencing video playback problems when using media player.
