Stop a Video Game Addiction?

Hi everyone. I’m in the eighth grade, soon to start high school, and I have a slight problem with video games. For example, as soon as I press the on button I’m out for one-two hours. Is there any way I can stop zoning out at least, because I’ve a future ahead of me, and I don’t feel video games is it (actually, stock investing is it). Quality answers are appreciated.
