Flicker Effect Tutorial – Final Cut Express

In this tutorial I show you how to create a flicker effect that results in ghost like movement. It’s a very easy effect and can be done in almost any video editing software. This is the first tutorial I’ve done since I got my Mac. Sorry if the quality isn’t the best. I’m still learning how to use all the software. you need to use the luma key filter- it is very similar to chroma key, or green screen, if you are familiar with it, but it works for white and black colors.

You’re welcome! Yep, it can be done with Vegas. All the House of Nightmares videos were edited in Vegas. I forgot to mention, in the video, that this will work with almost any editing software. If you upload your results, send me the link to view it.
