need HELP with setting up TV channel?

i haven’t had a TV in years (youtube era), now i got a TV from a friend, normal tv w/ remote, and some Rabbit ear antenna, and I have NO IDEA how to set the channels. I tried around but all the images are blur, how can I learn more about setting the channels?

Does it have to do with the digital TV transition, that my images are bad? THANKS

    It’s probably that you are too far away from the transmission towers to pick up a clear picture. Try moving the antenna closer to a window or higher up, but you may just be too far away.

    If it was the digital box problem, you’d get nothing but snow on the tv. Soon you will need the converter box with the antenna anyway, so get one and try it out, you never know what will help.

    For a rabbit ears to work effectively you need to be away from tall building – best in the country. Even the digital boxes with antennae don’t work wll in urban areas with high rises. Saw this on a Boston TV station.
