Does this camcorder have night vision?

The DCR-HC52 MiniDV Handycam Camcorder.

I’ve read it, but I’m not sure if it has night vision, and if it doesn’t, can you buy something and put on there to make it have it?

I wont go over $250 and I want a Sony, a small one like this one, but I want night vision on it.

    I would avoid the Sony HC series, many of them have the CCD go bad, then it has to back to sony for repair. The average night shot on any sony camera is only 10 feet to 12 feet.
    If you are going to use the camera for ghost hunting or paranormal shooting, then its OK.

    Look into getting an external infrared light emitting source (infrared flashlight) to increase the range at night.

    Its best to search a place like ebay for the model number, and add broken, fix, as is, repair to the model. Then you will see if the camera is OK.
