Does media violence affect some kids more than others?

I am writing a eight page paper about media (television, movies, video games, and maybe music) violence and its effects on children and I was wondering if some children are affected more by the violence than others and if so why. It would be helpful if you could give the links to websites.

    it definitely does. it probably most affects insecure kids or kid that grew up in rough places and they think they need to defend themselves from everything that comes their way.

    check out the governments website because there has been several studies done on this
