An important vhs tape got wet.The Audio works,but the video is not.Anything I can do to save it?

The tape is 15 years old and I really would like to save it. When I played it on my vcr and the heads got dirty. How can I clean that as well.

    At this point you really want to find a video dealer locally who might be able to help you. Look for video store, dealer, repair, along those lines. This is NOT a computer city type of question.

    Worse comes to worse call your local tv station, ask for engineering and see if someone in engineering has a local recommendation for you. They generally will know a dealer who might be able to help you. It will not be cheap, sorry about that.
