Is there a screen recording software that Records video and audio?

April 7, 2010 by: nickadmin

Is there any software out there (free or not) that will allow me to record video being played on Windows Media PLayer or other video players. I have tried one screen recording program but it only allowed me to capture audio. When I tried to record video being played on WMP, the video was just black when I played it back.

Maybe try Hyper cam. it allows you to choose wether to include audio, and it’s used a lot for youtube videos which need screen recording. A drawback is if it’s unregistered, it shows unregistered hypercam in a corner. Camtasia Studio stops this, but it includes a windows movie maker look a like, which has PIP and some other stuff.

    Use Bulent’s Screen Recorder :

You should check ‘disable hardware acceleration before recording’ option in Configurations, Page I. This should prevent blank recording.
