-Work against the cage (get takedowns, use it to stand back up, etc)
-Upper body movement (for slipping and ducking strikes)
-Lifting the legs to defend low kicks (I hate the way they’re currently defended)
-The ability to do illegal blows (three times and you get DQ’d though)
-Injuries during fights such as broken hand from punching, broken foot from kicking, ribs broken from body strikes, etc. This would also be cool/challenging to have in career mode where you or your opponent can come into the fight already injured from training.
-Cuts and doctor stoppages.
-Leg kicks actually doing damage where if enough are landed the opponent limps, can’t get a good takedown attempt off, etc.
-I would really like to see the WEC featured in the game but I doubt that will happen anytime soon.
-Legends like Royce Gracie, etc.
-Career mode – the fighter ages, more computer generated opponents so you don’t have to face the same ones all the time, interviews with Joe Rogan after fights (to call people out, respect or disrespect the opponent you just beat, etc. Basically build a reputation as a humble guy or smart ass). That’s all I can think of but career mode needs a lot of work done.

-”Explosive mode” If you are just getting raped that bar goes up and gives you the ability to explode and for a certain time period(30 seconds?) Your power and speed becomes 2x.
-More “Knockdowns” with strikes.
-More Variety of strikes for boxers.
-Counter strikes.
-ALOT BETTER CUSTOMIZATION FOR CREATE A FIGHTER AND A BETTER CAREER MODE!
the first guy got it right on… id also like to see improvements on the strikeing tho as whell… i also hate that u can catch punches and bring them into clinche…wtf is that…?
