Video cameras. Im looking for design, performance, and price.?

Hello all. I am looking for a great video camera that doesn’t break the bank. Here are the specifications i desire:

Good battery length
Not too expensive $800 and below
Able to record lengthly amounts of video
Small and versatile – to be used filming fire fighters on duty
Sleek, clever design
Able to be uploaded into iMovie or Final Cut Pro; i.e. Mac compatible.

any suggestions?
