Totally scams. All of the ones online are. I think Volition might be looking for testers, but it’s not what it sounds like. Video game testing is a 6 day a week job, involving you playing the same 30 seconds of game over and over and over [and over and over], reporting any found glitches. If something sounds too good to be true, I’m sure it is.(I.E. The post above me) The only way I can think of to really make money playing is to join the MLG

It’s not a scam, but it isn’t as easy as it sounds.

Take a look at the application requirements for the upcoming online game, Guild Wars 2 for example:

    Qualifications:
    2+ years testing video games
    Passion for Guild Wars
Works well in a creative team environment
    Reliable and self-motivated
    Extensive experience playing games
    Strong communication skills
    Creative and analytical thinker
    Strong problem solving abilities
    Familiarity with Word and Excel
Experience in creating and running test cases
Basic knowledge of Wiki page formatting
Ability to communicate professionally with players
Flexible schedule that adjusts to testing needs
Able to work in a fast-paced, fluid environment with minimal supervision

Most of these qualifications are just fluff, but be warned. You’re playing video games for MONEY, not primarily for FUN (tho it can be fun). There’s a lot of writing, communication with the game developers, and documenting bugs and glitches in the game.

Pay is as low as $20 (perhaps lower), as high as in the mid $100s. Minimum age requirement: 16 years old

Most sites claiming to pay you to play video games are e-books or scam type sites. Those sites typically direct you to someone’s landing page that links to a clickbank account or something of that nature.

My best advice is, play in online tournaments like gamebattles.com. You and your friends can play Call of Duty or Halo and make some decent money if you’re good. Usually the only ones who make money are the professional video game players.

I used to test games for money, now what I do is a bit different, but it’s still playing games for money online.

Go to gamestomoney.com for the guide.

It wont make you rich, and you need to put some time into it, it gets boring too, but it will still be a few hundred a week part time.

Try Ptcs. They’re safe and easy and time saving. But they do have minimum payouts. To avoid scams. Check the sites below
