Can cleaning the video heads on a mini dv camcorder too often somehow ruin them?

I dont think its the same for MiniDV tapes my friend. I use a cleaning tape for the heads on the camera I use and works great when loading in different MiniDV tape brands. Each brand has a different film coating if I’m saytihng this correctly.
