  1. oh crap says:

its not the violent video games or tv. its the parents that blame these things for their bad parenting.

I take pyschology at present, and recently did a debate over this topic.

This is not necessarily a correct statement. Many searches in Psychology are based on the two different view points (Nature vs. Nurture)
Nurture believes we learn from our environment (thus video games would lead to aggression in children – violence)
Nature believes our aggression is pre-determined.- due to chemical imbalances.

    Here’s my take on it.
Sane people who are peace loving like to play video games & enjoy entertainment because it is entertaining, gives them something to do, and they can take out their frustrations sometimes. However, they have the sanity and the knowledge to not repeat what they see in there.
Crazy people play games for similar reasons- however, they think that it would be FUN to do it in real life! So they go out and actually perform those things that they see in games.
    RANT TIME! :D
Now, wtf are those stupid people thinking? That crazy people would kill just because they see it on TV? Do they really think people are that stupid and impressionable? Before electronics there was Jack the Ripper and murderers and tons and tons of physical fights and gangs. Entertainment simply portrays that lifestyle occasionally.
The fact is that only CRAZY people and attention mongers slay people on purpose!
